Marcus Tudgay has said that Coventry City manager Tony Mowbray is looking to have a successful year.

Tudgay was part of what has been dubbed the "worst City team since the war" by many City supporters and after signing a new contract, told Keiran Crowley, that the players were looking to make up for the disappointment of last season.

"We were all disappointed at the end of last season," said Tudgay. "We were happy to stay in the league of course but we all hoped for a lot more during the campaign.

"The boys will want to come back with the new additions and put it right, especially with the manager and his ways. He'll be looking to have a successful year.

"I think with his coaching and with the squad believing in what he says, I think we've got a good chance to succeed."
