Coventry City manager Tony Mowbray is hoping that he will have Reda Johnson signed by Wednesday.

Johnson will be out of contract at midnight on July 1st and the City boss is hoping that he can retain the services of a defender, who was influential when he played but struggled with injury throughout the season.

“He knows we like him and want him,” said Mowbray to the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner.

“Nothing’s concluded but if it is, hopefully it will before we start back. ”
