Mowbray Drawing Up His Wishlist

Coventry City manager Tony Mowbray is to include some foreign players in the wish list he is compiling.

Mowbray told the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner: "I'm looking through lists of players who are available.

"There are some foreign players - some who have played in this league - there are some experienced players who have played in division one and I'm maybe not so sure about some who have played for teams we've played against.

I'm looking, watching and seeing what I like and then I get back to the agents and say "he is either not for me or I quite like him". What's the expectation? Where is he in terms of salary? What was he getting last year?

"I'm just try to build it up bit by bit and then trying to almost draw up a wishlist to see if we could get him.

"At the moment, there are lots of holes in the team but one by one, we'll try to drop some players in and hopefully, we'll be happy with the team by the time we're ready to go.

"Of course, you can't just go for eleven. You've got to go for twenty and be able to trust them all. And then you want some young ones around the periphery of that and you are off and running."
