Mowbray - We Won 5-0 So Can't Complain

Coventry City manager Tony Mowbray has said that with City winning 5-0 at Crewe Alexandra, he cannot complain too much.

Mowbray, who had to watch the game from the stand due to serving a one game ban, told the Coventry Telegraph:  “There were spells in the second half when they fell off the pace a little bit because, with the best will in the world, it’s hard to maintain that intensity when you’re four goals up at half-time.

“But we’ve won 5-0 away from home so we can’t complain too much. We started as we intended and we showed the ruthlessness that’s required in this league – we feel we can play well against all of the teams in this division but we don’t always get the goals we should.

“There have been too many times when we should have taken three points and we’ve only taken one but I’d like to think the work we’ve done this week, about how to win matches you dominate, paid off .”
