Mistakes Cost Us - Johnson

Yeovil Town manager Gary Johnson felt that mistakes saw his side go down to a 2-1 defeat against Coventry City.

Speaking to Chris Spittles for BBC Somerset, Johnson said: "I saw it as two mistakes really.

One is that we've got to be a lot better in our own penalty area when we're marking people. People get allocated that they have to mark and their job is to make sure that player doesn't score.

"Then obviously at 1-1 we'd worked hard to get ourselves back in it after an early goal against, and I thought we looked okay at that point. Then another mistake has cost us the second goal.

"If you make two mistakes then you're going to have to score three goals at a place like this to win a game, and that's not going to happen.

"Nobody means to make the mistake, but at the same time we have to start assessing how the goals are coming about."
