Mifsud Plays In Gibraltar's First Ever Win

Former Coventry City forward Michael Mifsud played for Malta tonight in an historic game.

The game will go down as historic as Malta were beaten 1-0 by Gibraltar, who are playing all their games out of the British Dependency.

In a game in Faro, Portugal, Gibraltar had the better of the chances with Mifsud being described in one report as looking well below his best, and scored the only goal of the game through K. Gassiaro in the 63rd minute.
