Former Coventry City forward/midfielder Gary McSheffrey has been released by Doncaster Rovers.
McSheffrey has not been offered a new deal by Rovers whom he joined after his deal at Scunthorpe United ended.
The Cov kid was injured in a tackle with Coventry City's Romain Vincelot on April 23rd 2016 and has had to miss most of the season through that injury.
He over-came his injury and played as a substitute for Doncaster in their final game of the season at Hartlepool.
