Livingston boss Paul Hegarty has insisted that James McPake will not be leaving the Almondvale Stadium until the end of the season.

McPake has signed a pre-contract agreement with Coventry City, who would like him for the remainder of the season. However, Livingston are now reportedly demanding £250,000 to release the centre half from his contract which expires in June and Hegarty is determined to make McPake stay despite him saying that he wants to come to Coventry.

Said Hegarty: "Nothing has changed - James is going nowhere. "He is a Livingston player until the end of the season and it will have to be a very good deal for him to go this month."
