Speaking about the signing from Livingston, Morrison told the CT: "I was impressed with James McPake who looks a proper defender.
"He puts his head in and kicks people and that's what you need because we are getting it done to us.
"He's a Glasgow street fighter and if you were in the trenches, you would want him there with you."
