Coventry City striker Marc McNulty has said that he is hoping to bring goals to the Sky Blues.

McNulty, scored twice from the penalty spot on Friday night against MK Dons, to make it three goals in pre-season matches and he told Tom Leach, who has been taken on by City to work in their media department: “It is always good to hit the back of the net but I’m probably a little over critical of myself.

“I am going away tonight thinking that I have not had enough shots and I have not scored from open play. If I am being honest I am a little disappointed in myself.

“I am hoping to bring goals, but not just that, I like to get into that number ten position and create a as well.

“I know this level well. I was at Portsmouth the season before last and got double figures. This league is difficult, it’s relentless, it’s every week but I like that.”
