Loanee David McGoldrick could keep his place in the Coventry City starting line up for Sunday's League One game against Stevenage FC.

McGoldrick had his performance against Burton on Tuesday praised by City caretaker manager Richard Shaw and he could start up front with Cody McDonald or in the same partnership with Stephen Elliott which was used on Tuesday night.

City are hoping that Adam Barton will be released from international duty but Jordan Clarke, Richard Wood and Gary McSheffrey are all available for selection.

Stevenage could have keeper Chris Day, who was on trial with City during pre-season 2005 and went with the club to Ibiza, starting and have Jon Ashton, James Dunne, Lucas Akins, Marcus Haber, Robin Shroot and Luke Freeman all available.
