Mike McGinnity and Peter Reid were given a torrid time on local radio this afternoon.

Both appeared on the Bob Brolley show on Radio WM and faced severe criticism for the team and club performances this season.

McGinnity admitted that the debt had increased to £25m of which £17m was owned to clubs directors and £8 to the bank.

The Chairman refused to say how much he had invested in the club.but Covsupport believe the figure to be around the £4m mark.

Meanwhile,Craig Pead has returned to Highfield Road. A statement on the official Notts County website reads: "Midfielder Craig Pead has returned to Coventry City, and will not be included in Notts' squad to face Mansfield Town tomorrow.

Pead, 23, started five matches and made one appearance from the bench during his one month spell and turned in possibly his best performance in a NottsCounty shirt last Sunday at Macclesfield as he played a key part in both of Glynn Hurst's goals.

The versatile midfielder will now return to Highfield Road following his loan spell, and we wish Craig well for the future and thank him for his efforts with Notts County Football Club."

Pead is expected to play in City Reserves game with Tottenham at Nuneaton on Wednesday.
