The man who discovered former Coventry City player and manager Micky Adams and took him to Gillingham has died aged 90.
Bill Collins joined The Gills in 1949 and served as a player, first team trainer, reserve team manager, youth team manager and a scout who spotted the talents of Steve Bruce and Micky Adams who started his career at Gillingham before moving to Coventry City.
There will be a minute's applause for Collins on Saturday when Gillingham play Dover in an FA Cup 1st Round tie.
