Madine Back To Carlisle Action

Gary Madine was back involved with Carlisle United today.

The striker returned to Cumbria after his loan spell at Coventry City which comprised of nine subsittute appearances and three reserve games ended earlier this week.

Madine came on for the last three minutes of Carlisle's 0-0 draw with Stockport County at Brunton Park as a replacement for Evan Horwood.

Adam Walker, who has not yet signed any extension details at Nuneaton contrary to reports yesterday, was brought down for a penalty which former City youngster Rob Oddy converted to send Nuneaton Town on their way to a 3-1 victory at Hemel Hempstead.

Craig Reid scored twice for Newport County in a 5-0 win against St Albans City. The former City Reserve team striker now has scored twenty goals for the Exiles who are managed by former Sky Blue Dean Holdsworth.
