Maddison Makes England U21 Debut

Former Coventry City youngster James Maddison made his England U21 debut tonight.

Maddison came on for the final nine minutes of England U21's, managed by former City manager Aidy Boothroyd, 2-0 victory away to Ukraine.

Former Coventry City loanee Jack Cork made his England debut tonight.  With a number of Coventry City supporters at Wembley watching on, Cork came on for the final four minutes of the 0-0 draw.

Wales, managed by former City boss Chris Coleman who is still uncertain of his future, were beaten 2-0 in France.


Jordan Shipley's goal against Luton Town has been named as the Sky Blues Goal Of The Month for October.


Rumours that Leeds United are interested in Jodi Jones. Football Insider are claiming that Leeds have had their scouts watching him.


In the one League Two game tonight, Newport County drew 1-1 with Port Vale.
