Macca wants Hignett

Manager Gary McAllister has checked out several potential loan recruits and chief executive Graham Hover has confirmed that one possibility being actively considered is Hignett.

It is believed the out-of-favour striker has discussed a deal with Rovers where he is able to leave on a free transfer.
