Luton Town were happy that David Bell moved from Norwich to Coventry City last week.
The Hatters, who face relegation from the Football League after a harsh thirty point deduction, had a clause in the deal which took the winger to Carrow Road back in the close season, which gives them a percentage of any sell-one fee.
Coventry City are believed to have paid Norwich the £250k they paid for Bell but Chairman Ray Ranson has insisted that the fee is undisclosed.
Speaking to Dunstable Today, Luton director Antony Brown said: "We've been asked not to reveal the transfer fee, but there is a little add on we will be getting."
