Lorenzson Needs More Training - Mowbray

Coventry City manager Tony Mowbray has said that defender Martin Lorentzson needs more training to get him up to speed.

The Swede played his second forty five minutes for City U21's on Monday in the 3-0 defeat at Barnsley and speaking to the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner, Mowbray said: "Martin got 45 minutes on Monday and in my mind that’s not enough to propel himself towards the team yet,” said Mowbray.

“He needs to train for a week or two more to get the intensity of his football up.

"He didn’t give the ball away at all in the 21s, played nice passes but he wasn’t stretched.

"They didn’t play a left midfielder so he was nice and comfortable, but he showed good qualities with the ball.”
