Locally, Nuneaton Borough lost 1-0 at bottom side Alfreton Town. Rugby Town drew 0-0 at home to Chippenham but Bedworth United lost 2-0 at home to Clevedon.

It was derby day in the Midland Alliance, Leamington beat Racing Club Warwick 2-1. Former Sky Blue Ben Mackey put Warwick ahead in the third minute but Josh Blake and John Adams scored before half-time to give Jason Cadden's side the win in front of a crowd of 785. Stratford Town won 1-0 at Quorn.

It was a good day for our sides in the Midland Combination Premier Division. Leaders Atherstone won 3-0 at Alveston. Coventry Sphinx also won - 3-1 at Shifnal Town as did Copsewood beating Bolehall Swifts 2-1. Nuneaton Griff won 4-1 at Brocton, whilst Massey Ferguson drew 2-2 at home to Continental Star and Southam United drew 1-1 at home to Dudley Sports. Elsewhere,Stockingford lost 4-2 at Thimblemill Rec
