Former Coventry City striker Lee Hughes will make an early season return to Coventry.
Hughes is currently the joint manager of Worcester City, who will travel to play Coventry United in a Midland Football League fixture on Monday August 28th.
The game will be the first home game of the league season at the Butts Park Arena, for United, who have also signed former City youngster Brad Jones, who has been at the Glenn Hoddle Academy and played for Folly Lane and Coventry Sphinx following the Sky Blues not offering him a professional deal and former City reserve teamer Avun Jephcott, who has been well travelled since his release by City.
