Marlon King has said that he would like more matches. The Coventry City striker who has notched 12 goals in 21 starts told the CT: "I would like another 20 games to be honest but it is what it is and I’m just looking forward to Scunthorpe on Friday.

"If I’m on the scoresheet again so be it but if I’m not, I’m not – so long as we get three points, that’s the main thing.”

“It’s all right saying what could have been but I can only do what’s asked of me when I’m on the pitch and that is score goals.

“I could have had a third against Millwall – I think the keeper might have got his fingertips to the first one and the second was a really good save – but I’m just thankful that we got the three points and gave the supporters something to smile about.

“They went home with the bragging rights because the Millwall fans came here and made a lot of noise.

"They were on my case in particular, but I just got on with it as always and we showed a lot of character and patience, especially after losing a silly goal before half time.”
