The midfielder who was allowed to find another club by Micky Adams told Blackpool Today: "It was a strange few days last week because I'd agreed a move at the start of the week and then it all went quiet.
"Then late on Thursday I suddenly got another call and we had to get the deal done pretty quickly in the end, made a bit more difficult by the fact that I was in Scotland preparing for an international with the Faroe Islands."
"But when you've been in football a while you learn never to be surprised by anything that happens and I'm really pleased that the deal went through because I wasn't involved at Coventry and I want to play first team football."
