According to Sky Bet, James Beattie is now second in the betting to become the next manager of Coventry City.

David Hockaday remains the favourite at 5/4 but Beattie, a former England international who has managed Accrington Stanley, is the second favourite at 2/1 with Neil MacFarlane dropping to 5/1.

The usual names, who crop up for every job are in the running, with interestingly Oldham boss Lee Johnson given odds of 10/1, a lot higher than his dad who is currently out of work after being sacked as manager of Yeovil Town.
