Adam Jackson, has said that he would like to play for City's first team if the chance arose during his month on loan from Middlesbrough.
Jackson, who was solid during his debut for City U21's, told the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner: “I want to work really hard in training and see if I can break into the team.
“It’s a big opportunity and if there’s maybe an injury or suspension – hopefully not – and I can get myself in the team then great.
“I’ve had a few injuries and it has been a bit hit and miss trying to get a run of games going at the back end of last season and start of this but I’m looking to kick on now.
“Boro also were doing really well last season so it was tough to get in.”
