The defender joined the Railwaymen on loan until January 1st after over-coming a broken foot during the League Cup defeat at Morecambe.
"I have come to Crewe to get some games under my belt," Hussey said to Crewe Player.
"There are quite a few between now and the 1st of January, so that will give me 6 or 7 games and hopefully I can play in all of them.
"I spoke to the gaffer at Coventry and he told me that it had to be the right club to go out on loan too. Crewe produce good young players and everyone knows what a good coach Dario is, so it was the right move for me. I am looking forward to it."
