Coventry City CEO Steve Waggott has said that he has already met some of the candidates to replace Steven Pressley but a new appointment will not be made before the weekend.
Mr Waggott told the club website:
"I've already met candidates for the position and meetings will continue throughout the week," Waggott said. “There has been very positive interest in the position and some very interesting candidates have come forward. It’s vital that we get the right person who is at the right juncture in their career.
"We want to accelerate the process but there will not be an appointment before the weekend's game against MK Dons so it is important fans get behind Neil, Dave and the players for what is a crucial match.
