It's Going To Be A Struggle - Coleman

Coventry City manager Chris Coleman has admitted that the loss of crucial players is a struggle.

With an already woefully inadequate squad, City have been hit by an injury crisis and have lost five players in recent weeks.

"Stephen Wright trained yesterday and broke down again and we are still five first-team players short, and I don't care who you are, whether you are Man United or Chelsea, if you take five players who would normally be in your team out of the equation then it is going to be a struggle," said Chris Coleman to the CT.

"But we have got to show the same cameraderie we showed on Saturday. There are going to be gaps because we are calling on guys who are just coming back into the side, but we have got to come back from Charlton and Watford with something and we are confident we can do that.

"It is important to go into this Christmas period with a strong squad of players and we haven't got that at the minute, unless that changes dramatically in the next two weeks, but at the moment we are as thin as we can be."
