The Trinidad & Tobago international said: "Maybe some people questioned whether I could step up from League One to the Championship but I think I've shown that I am more than capable of playing at this level.
"It was a massive buzz scoring my first goal for the club, the sound of 20,000 people cheering is something new for me.
"It is an honour to play for Coventry and hopefully I will continue to show that in my performances."
