Coventry City manager Aidy Boothroyd has admitted that he is pleased with the players and staff that he inherited.

Speaking to the CT, Boothroyd said: "I am pleased with the players and staff I have inherited because when you come in, you don't know anyone and you don't know how people are going to react to you.

"Generally, in football, everyone gets quite excited and does their best with a new manager and then they tend to come down again. But I have told them I have got them now. They are trapped and I have seen them all at their most professional and hardest working and I expect that all the way through because that's what being sucessful is all about a lot of the time.
