Covsupport News Service sends its condolences to the family, friends and colleagues of Ian Murray who sadly passed away on Thursday aged 67, after a short illness.
Ian was one of Coventry's most respected referees and was President of the Coventry Referees Association, only the 12th person to hold this title in over one hundred years.
During his time as referee and an assistant, he ran the line at Old Trafford and a host of top grounds.
