Coventry City manager Chris Coleman says he does not want extra-time and penalties tonight in the FA Cup Third Round replay against Portsmouth at the Ricoh Arena.

Portsmouth were without a game on Saturday after their trip to Fulham was postponed but the City boss insists that his side are prepared should the game go into extra time and penalties to decide who faces Sunderland at home on Saturday January 23rd in the Fourth Round

“I hope it doesn’t go to extra time because we could do without that” said Coleman to the CT. “As I keep saying, the league is our priority and we’ve got a very important game coming up this weekend.

“But if that’s what it takes we’ll be ready for it – and if it goes to penalties I know who will be taking ours.”
