Coventry City CEO Steve Waggott has said that he understands the frustrations of City supporters.

Writing in his programme notes for the game against Rochdale, Mr Waggott wrote: "I stopped to speak to some supporters in the car park after the Yeovil game and they certainly got one or two things off their chest and I get it.

"I know it is very little comfort when results are mixed but I hope supporters can see I want to be as open as I possibly can be with thwm whether that is one to one, at fans forums or through the media.

"The open question around the announcement of a proposed location of the new stadium is frustrating for the board and fans alike. The new location is perhaps the most important decision that will be taken during my tenure at the club and it is as frustrating for me and everyone else involved with the club that we are unable to make an announcement on this yet.

"The commercial sensitivities, at this stage anyway, mean it must remain private for now but as soon as we are able to share more information publically we will do so.

"It's vital that the club has a home to call its own and that we unite staff, players and the academy in one place to help drive Coventry City forward to a positive future."
