I Don't Ever Want To Be Talking About Kids And Money - Thorn

Coventry City manager Andy Thorn has said that the time for excuses is in the past.

Speaking to the CT's Andy Turner, Thorn said: "I don't want us to be saying we're too young or this or that any more

"And we can't have people accepting defeat.

"I am not having a go at the players because I have spoken to them all individually and they've all put a shift in and that sort of stuff but I have said to them not to use this as an excuse any more.

"I've asked them to have a think about the last season and where they could have done better, and in fairness they have had a right go.

"But the season has gone now and I don't ever want to have to talk about kids and not having any money and stuff.

"We have to leave all that in the past."
