I Don't Even Want To Talk About Administration - Clouting

Coventry City CEO Paul Clouting has refused to talk about administration.

Speaking to the CT's Andy Turner, Mr Clouting said: "There has not been a single conversation about do we want to go in administration, should we go into administration, can we afford to pay the bills next month. The club continues to be funded.

" I don’t even want to talk about the administration word.

"I have been in a business that went through administration and it is a really painful thing to do because not only are supporters damaged in the sense that it is their football club and there is a ten point deduction, but local businesses are disadvantaged, and they tend to be big supporters of the football club.

"So we are not even thinking about administration, and going back to my point earlier, anyone – and this isn’t a Gary Hoffman thing – anyone who wants to make a credible offer to this business that they wish us to consider, make the offer to us, but do it right.
