Coventry City manager Andy Thorn admitted that he did not understand the penalty given to Crystal Palace in the second minute of the 1-1 draw at the Ricoh Arena on Tuesday night.
Speaking to BBC Coventry & Warwickshire's Geoff Foster, Thorn, who admitted that he had not seen the decision, which had sent his blood pressure through the roof, again said: "I can't understand that penalty.
"You have to be certain it is a penalty before you give it. "He was the nearest person and gave it after consulting everybody.
"He gave some strange decisions that referee."
