Coventry Sphinx play their final home Midland Alliance game of 2012 when they take on Continental Star at Sphinx Drive tomorrow.
Walsall based Continental Star were promoted from the Midland Combination at the end of last season and are currently one place below Sphinx in sixteenth place in the table, although they do have five games in hand on Luke Hopkins side.
On Boxing Day, Sphinx played very well to beat league leaders Stratford Town 2-1 in the Warwickshire derby whilst Star were without a match after their fixture away to Highgate United was postponed.
