Rochdale boss Keith Hill said there was a great deal he was pleased with following his side's 2-2 draw at Coventry City.

Hill told the Press Association: "I can't complain about the quality of the two Coventry goals, they were excellent finishes, but they came from us giving away possession when we had it secured.

"But that said there was a great deal I am pleased with, especially the fighting spirit. The second half performance was outstanding and on another day we could easily have won the game.

"Callum's goal was one of the best team goals we have scored this season and it was something we had worked on during week in training. They have a big distance between their back four and their strikers and we wanted to exploit that and it led to our first goal.

"Calvin scored a very good goal which is why we brought him. He is disappointed that he does not start every game but he is a very good professional."
