Higgs Claim No Involvement In Latest SISU Court Action

The Alan Edward Higgs Charity have said that them being named as an interested party in the Sky Blue Sports and Leisure, Arvo Master Fund and Otium Entertainment Group v Coventry City Council legal case is factually incorrect.

The Charity have stated on their website:

"There is a new action brought by Sisu against Coventry City Council in which the Trustees have been named as Interested Parties. This is factually incorrect and has no basis at all.  We are neither directly nor indirectly involved in the time frame set out nor in the Decision (October 2014) of the City Council with which Sisu take issue.  We have asked Sisu to amend all documents and remove their claim to involve us as Interested Parties, or to provide an explanation for their refusal to do so.  They have not acknowledged our letters and so leave us no option but to set the public record straight with this statement.

"Council Decisions are made by Councillors and nobody else. The Decision concerns the loan from Coventry City Council to Arena Coventry Ltd. When this action was brought the Trustees were no longer anything to do with ACL as they had sold their interest in ACL"
