Heard Nothing From Leicester - Elliott

New Acting Coventry City Chairman Joe Elliott has said that as yet he has not heard anything from Leicester City about an approach to take Iain Dowie as their new manager.

Mr Elliott told BBC C&W that "He had not told a lie to supporters but as sure as he was sitting there, he had not heard anything from Leicester about an approach for Iain Dowie."

There was much media speculation yesterday that Iain Dowie would be leaving the club to take up the manager's position at the Crisp Bowl and Dowie remains the red hot favourite for the job this morning.
