Coventry City defender Ryan Haynes has said that he needs to start impressing manager Tony Mowbray.
Speaking to Matt Joyce, Haynes who finished the season playing for City U21's said: "I'm a young player and I've still got plenty to learn.
"I was disappointed that I dropped off towards the end of the season as I wanted to help keep the club in the division. I was a bit burned out but I still was eager to finish the season strongly.
"I wanted to finish the season on a high, that didn't happen for me personally but now it's a challenge to come back even better.
"I want to keep improving and I will be fresh in pre-season. I want to be stronger and fitter, I learnt a lot last season and I have to remember that it was my first full season.
"But now I need to impress the manager and I appreciate how important it will be for me to start pre-season well to get back in the picture."
