Aron Gunnarsson has joined Welsh side Cardiff City from fellow Championship side Coventry City.
The 22 year old Icelandic international midfielder had rejected the contract that Coventry had offered after his three year deal had expired.
Although he was a free agent. Cardiff City will have to pay Coventry City a development fee as Gunnarsson is under 24 years old and if the two clubs cannot come to a mutually acceptable price, it will be set by a tribunal.
