Good Luck Robins You Are Going To Need It

As Coventry City slump to our lowest league position since 1959 at least weve appointed a new manager.

But how long does it take to hold an interview? Perhaps the reason it's took so long is that 99% were not suitable or the Board weren't convinced about Robins.

I'm not buying the "he was the first choice". If you have a look at some of the other Managers who we could've appointed; Ince, Brown, Shaw, Dickov, Staunton, Black, Blackwell, Money, Wilder...none of them stand out or excite me.

Now Robins is in, it's important we get behind him. If the players don't respond we could end up in League Two.

I can't see Robins being happy with some of the effort of the players but can he get more out of them?

Has he also got enough contacts to bring players in?

It's a massive task Robins had taken on. The club's in debt, crowds are down, fans are fed up, we've no money for new players and the current lot don't look bothered.

Mark, good luck and welcome to Coventry City, you are going to need it!
