Going All The Way - Coleman

Coventry City manager Chris Coleman feels that City's battle to avoid relegation will go all the way to the last game of the season at Charlton on May 4th.

"I think it will go to the wire," said Coleman to the CT. "If you look at Sheffield United they have gone on a run of three wins and now they are out of it really, and teams that can do that have got a good chance.

"You have to look at us and think, can they play much better? Probably not. Can they create more chances? Probably not too many more. It's all about scoring goals.

"We have six clean sheets at home but we have only got one win from the last three home games. And given the chances we created we should be sitting here with nine points instead of five.

"And the problem is the teams around us have been winning and had good spells. Now we need to have a good spell."

"Southampton beat Leicester 1-0 recently, Southampton go to Hull and lose 5-0 and Leicester go to West Brom and win 4-1, so it's a crazy league.

"I can't believe the Leicester result and never saw that coming. But the teams above us, Norwich, Southampton, Barnsley are not out of it so I think it will go to the wire and I think we need to strengthen to make sure we are safe.

"Our next game is Southampton and it will be an absolute humdinger with a lot of pressure, but that's what it is about and we have got to go there and get a result."
