New figures from theyworkforyou.com show that City Chairman and Coventry MP Geoffrey Robinson is a busy man whose interests elsewhere take him away from parliamentry matters.
According to the site which issued figures for the last year, the longstanding MP for Coventry North West spoke only in nine debates,got answers to ten written questions and attended 77% of votes.

Compare this to Coventry South MP Jim Cunningham who spoke in 51 debates,got answers to 429 written questions and attended 94% of votes, a figure only beaten by 15 other MP's out of a total of 644. Coventry's other MP Bob Ainsworth is a Deputy Government Whip and cannot speak in debates or table questions but attended 87% of votes.
The site also reveals that Mr Robinson's declared interests are Coventry City with other interests in The New Statesman Limited, Marketing Artistic Management, based in Madrid and engaged in musical promotions, of which he is not paid but made a modest loan to , Trans Tec PLC who are now in liquidation and the rents from a cottage in Hampshire and an apartment in France.
