Gary Breen To Work With Strachan Again

Former Coventry City defender Gary Breen has agreed to become a coach for Strachan Football Foundation.

Breen, who over 500 appearances in the Premier League and Football League and sixty three caps for the Republic Of Ireland, will be a coach for the Strachan Football Foundation team which will play in the British College Sport Elite League on Wednesday afternoons and will represent Rugby Town Reserves in the Midland Combination Reserve League Division 1,  

Speaking about the appointment, Gavin Strachan said: “The introduction of Gary Breen to the Strachan Football Foundation is a massive acheivement to get a person involved in the foundation who has achieved such a lot in the game, over 300 Premier League appearances and playing in a World Cup are things that some us can only dream of.

"Gary’s introduction will not only help develop our apprentices but the SFF coaches too, we all have so much more learn. “
