Coventry City manager Andy Thorn has said that loan signing Gary Gardner is a quality player.
Speaking to the Sky Blue Player, Thorn said: "It is all sealed and he trained with us this morning with all of us looking forward to having him around.
"I was looking for a bit of experience to add to the squad but when a player of his quality comes along, your eyes light up.
"He is a quality player and we have been looking at him for a while and we were just hoping he would come here. We were fortunate enough to get the deal done and it is a really nice addition for us.
"When I brought him in, it wasn't so he could sit in the stands and watch us. We want him involved.
"I don't want to put to much pressure on the lad as he is still young but he will give us another option, get goals from midfield and more energy which is good."
Speaking about Lukas Jutkiewicz who had been the subject of interest from Southampton, Thorn said: "Juke is still here and we are happy about that. I don't know if the club had any offers for him.
"It was the first time I knew anything the other day but I can't see him leaving now so I think he will be stopping and scoring a few more goals."
