A former Coventry referee Pete Walton could become the most important match official in America.
The People are reporting that Walton, who has been based in Long Buckby for a number of years, could be giving up the whistle and landing a job in charge of referees with the MLS in America.
He has been on the Premier League list since 2003 and has been the representative for referees trade union Prospect.
