Former Coventry City youngster Josh Ruffles has signed a new contract with Oxford United.
Ruffles returned to his hometown club in 2013 after playing for City U18's and reserves and making one substitute appearance for City's first team.
The midfielder has made 110 appearances for Oxford, scoring six goals including three this season and has signed a deal to take him up to the end of the 2019/2020 season with the option of another year.
Speaking to Oxford's club website, Ruffles said: "I'm really pleased to have sorted everything out.
"I have had a fantastic time ever since I signed, with promotion, two games at Wembley and so many other great occasions as well.
"It's my home-town club, everyone here is very progressive and ambitious and I am enjoying my football, so it was an easy decision to sign."
Meanwhile, former City loanee Stephen Bywater, has extended his contract with Burton Albion.
Bywatyer, has signed a new deal to stay with the Brewers until the end of next season.
