Former Coventry City reserve team keeper Mervyn Day has left his job at West Bromwich Albion.

Day, who played a few games for City Reserves in 1990 during a loan spell, had been head of recruitment at the Hawthorns after working at Brighton & Hove Albion.

The 60 year old, who was known for his time as West Ham United's keeper, has left West Brom along with Terry Burton as part of an expected summer re-shuffle by manager Tony Pulis.

Former City captain Gerry Francis who is the first team coach and former City keeper Jonathan Gould who is the goalkeeping coach are unaffected by the reshuffle.
