Former Coventry City loanee Conor Henderson has signed a new deal with Crawley Town.

Henderson, a former Arsenal player, joined Crawley last season but missed a good part of the season with an ankle injury.

Henderson has now signed a six month deal and is quoted by the Crawley & Horley Observer as saying:  “I had a very good meeting with the new manager (Mark Yates) and I’m pleased to have signed my new contract.

“It gives me the opportunity to hit the ground running in pre-season and hopefully impress the manager enough to get another one.

“It’s been a frustrating few months with the injury but I am 100% fit now and have done a couple of sessions with (new physio) Paul Wilson to test the ankle out and it’s fine.

“I can’t wait for July 1 and the start of pre-season and hopefully I can kick on from there and show the manager and the fans what I can bring.”
